Psychotherapy can be a life changing process. I am dedicated to forming a partnership with my clients, which allows for a safe, trusting, and enriching environment in which to explore feelings and thoughts and make important changes.

I specialize in adolescent and adult treatment utilizing a combination of CBT, psychodynamic therapy, relational therapy, and mindfulness, to tailor the treatment to the needs of each client.  I continuously engage in ongoing trainings to provide up to date clinical treatment.  My background in child psychology offers a developmental perspective that enhances all of my work.  I have extensive experience in working with grief, loss, depression, divorce, parenting, stress, trauma, sexuality, and LGBTQIA issues.  As a child of an immigrant and having lived abroad myself, I understand the complexities of expatriates and am skilled at helping navigate the challenges of people living outside of their native country.

In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a pro bono therapist at Unchained at Last, an organization assisting women to leave or avoid arranged/forced marriages and rebuild their lives.  I am also training to be an evaluator for asylum seekers.
